accounting and marketing???

    hello everyone i was thinking of doing either accounting or marketing this september and i was wondering what are these courses like?? and is there many job opportunities after i finish them?? thanks in advance

    I'd recommend the Accountancy but remember that to qualify as an accountant you'll be a trainee for 3 years miniumum after a degree. Job prospects are good and the course in LIT is very good. Marketing isn't a bad degree either but it's more of a general business qualification than something specific like accountancy.

    Accountany degree would be the better option. I did Marketing in LIT for 4 years and got my degree but now i regret it and wish i had done accountany instead. Plus the first 2 years of each course are identical, You'll have the same lecturers and the exact same exams. They dont "specialise" until the 3rd year. And another drawback you dont go out on co-op which is something i believe they desperatly need to do.
