Imdb cast list for DW specials

    On Imdb, they have the cast lists for the actors who are reportedly appearing in the last 2 DW specials. When I read the Xmas list I thought it sounded pretty promising, especially after the fantastic Children of Earth. But since I read the New Years day list I'm a bit worried that RTD is back to "kitchen sink" events.

    Xmas day cast:

    David Tennant ... The Doctor
    Bernard Cribbins ... Wilfred Mott
    Catherine Tate ... Donna Noble
    John Barrowman ... Captain Jack Harkness
    John Simm ... The Master:eek:
    Jacqueline King ... Sylvia Noble

    New Years Day list:

    David Tennant ... The Doctor
    Bernard Cribbins ... Wilfred Mott
    Catherine Tate ... Donna Noble
    Billie Piper ... Rose Tyler
    John Barrowman ... Captain Jack Harkness
    John Simm ... The Master
    Elisabeth Sladen ... Sarah Jane Smith
    Camille Coduri ... Jackie Tyler
    Jacqueline King ... Sylvia Noble
    Tommy Knight ... Luke Smith (as Thomas Knight)

    And Matt Smith is further down the guest stars.

    I really hope that at least some of these characters are seen only through flashbacks or something; especially
    Rose
    .

    There will also be appearances by the

    who will also be in the Nov 14th special according to imdb and Timothy Dalton as a
    timelord
    .

    IMDB, like Wikipedia, is completely user-generated & many times in the past bullsh*t casting was inserted for various Who finales (usually by over-zealous fans), so I wouldn't trust anything you read there until you see a press release from the Beeb. :)
