so i only discovered this place a few weeks ago. alot of you seem to know what your talking about interms of airspace, planes etc so im keen to learn more about the industry. i fly alot with my job, perhaps am on a plane once a week and love everything about aviation. also, would like to know more about listening into control tower conversations :)

so basically, just looking for any help/tips/sites etc going that can make my interest become a hobby!

To get you started, you can listen to live ATC from various airports around the world here. If you are interested in learning about flying, you might be interested in getting a copy of Microsoft's Flight Simulator X, this book and a decent joystick.

why not do a flying lesson after all you get to fly the plane listen to the controlers and see the effects that the primary controls have on flying i.e turning/desending etc.

its roughly about 200 euro a lesson
