UPC box 'finalising setup' right now

    I turned on my TV a few minutes ago to find the UPC box giving me a message that 'The set-up is now being finalised, this can take a few minutes'. I've rebooted and reactivated and it's still there. When I called them (to get the office hours) I got a whole sermon about my new digicard. I've gotten texts about the card too, urging me to install it. The only thing is, I never got the actual card.

    I'm guessing this is the "interruption in service" the were threatening if I didn't replace the card. Or is it a general outage? Is anyone else in the Palmerstown, Ballyfermot, Lucan area having issues right now?

    ive just got my shiny new HD+ box today and im getting the same error message. "This set-up is now being finalised, this can take a few minutes. Thereafter ...."
    how did you get yours fixed?

    I had to call them to activate the box.

    ive been onto the call centre and they seem pretty helpful and are working on it. apparently i was not registered for TV service thus the probs.
