So what's worth listening to? I've got a long commute that's made much more pleasant by the Adam Carolla Podcast. He's a US comedian / talk show presenter / radio DJ who frequently has comedians on for guests. (David Cross, Jim Jefferies, Bob Odenkirk, Greg Giraldo) It's all a bit California-centric, I suppose, but it's free and it's pretty fecking funny.

He's old friends with Jimmy Kimmel, and in the second part of that interview they talked about how getting laid regularly ruins comedians... must be why the standard of comedy is so high in Ireland.

If you've got a comedy podcast recommendation, throw it in here. (Uh, please.)

Agreed that they're gold, but unlike gold, you can't just dig up more. Is he still doing them?

i think he has done a new one recently! but he is on tour at the moment so they may be on hiatus!

he has done more than 2 though see here: ricky gervais and he holds the guiness books of world records title as the most downloaded podasts of all time!

    Jiiiiiiiim!

Get Doug Benson's I Love Movies from iTunes, it's aces. You won't regret it and we can high five about it next time we see each other (approx. 3 years time).

Not comedy but http://www.wnyc.org/shows/radiolab/ is also very interesting and enjoyable, might help you with the commute.

Also Jimmy Pardo's Never Not Funny podcasts are great, I think you have to pay for them now but starting Season 2 he has Paul F Tompkins, Patton Oswalt etc etc in as guests. Good stuff, really worth it.

    Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamonblaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake

I will check out Mister Benson's stuff, thanks.

I've been listening to this link at work a bunch recently.

It's ok, there'll be a good set by like George Carlin or Richard Pryor or someone, but then there'll be a ten-minute chunk of Larry the Cable Guy.

Not great but it beats working.
