Organic scheme gone now what next single farm payment
Im starting to think of going back to 1930s style farming
keep 2 cows a few sheep and a pig for the deep freeze a few chickens ducks
to feed my own family and let the greedy supermarkets and goverment f*** off.
If I could get a job to pay off my debts it would be tempting

The Organic Scheme is not gone it is the Scheme of Grant Aid for the Development of the Org. Sector - it was a grant in place for organic producers for the purchase of new equipment etc.

But to be honest it is probably only a matter of time before the Organic Scheme goes so it would be advisable to get an application in sooner rather than later.

As long as the subsidy in the dail bar is kept you wont hear too many raised voices for the farmers,Workers .Carers etc.The Irish people are way too Quiet about this.Bitching wont stop this.Politicians should be ran out of any farm event they show their face at.
