    Indeed -

All things I've been posting here about over the last while.

It's interesting that I don't recall any particularly insightful discussion here about such like. I would welcome it.

It seems to me the Fulcrum about which all else revolves.
If your music/career can't develop it will, quite naturally it seems to me, peter out. Money, whether we like it or not, is integral to it.

The first step is obviously 'Be Good' .... the next step is 'Do what the good guys do'.

That takes a bit of work and imagination - not the usual open mouthed ' Where do I send my CD to?' type thinking.

Very interesting times indeed and an area I'd love to see more discussion on.

That's the clincher isn't it? 99% of bands are actually just doing it for fun, even though they don't realise it. Just another version of deluded!

That's true, but that doesn't allow for the definition of 'fun' to change, which it does for most people (except AC/DC fans)

I used to think reading 'The Beano' was fun ...

Eh? What do you mean? Reading the Beano was fun!
