taxing my vehicle

ok guys, i bought s car from a garge that isn't taxed, just to keep it brief what do i do next?, how long before i can drive it, btw i have insurance and nct sorted out, im desperate to drive it lol....:)

ive bought many a car without tax and never had a problem driving it with the guards ........... have my car two and a bit so weeks went through a check point ....... showed the guard the insurance form with the date , told him i will be taxed in the next ten days .............. didnt take any details just sent me on my way .

if you have the logbook go to your local motor tax office and hand it to them they will let you tax it there and then ........... if the seller sent the logbook then theres nothing you can do untill it comes in the post .

but as i said i wouldnt be worried the guards to give people a 30 day leeway on the tax

remember the tax on the car isnt from the date it was up it is from the date you signed for the car .... so 30 days from then is what they would let u have .............. they are human ya know they have to buy cars themselves and they know about waiting for logbooks etc.
