Swimming in Lake Malawi

    Hi all,

    Has anyone been to Lake Malawi, or better still there now, and have any info on swimming in it. I have heard reports that its quite unsafe at the mo cuz of Schistosomiasis. Now i know this has always been a problem and you should never swim in it blah blah blah but I've never been too pushed about these kinds of warnings, to a degree anyway.
    Just was wondering if anyone knows how bad it is at the mo as I really want to do some water sports there.
