    I was just wondering if someone could please give me al little insight.Excuse my ignorance and this may not be the case in Ireland but... I have often seem people brag about crimes that they have comitted even including video footage of it...how come these people can't be prosecuted? it seems that there is sufficient evidence.

    Well, have those with locus standi, namely the victim,pressed charges?

    Are the Police/DPP, who also have locus standi, aware of what has happened?
