Can anyone suggest good half-day/ full day riding in Mayo. Don't mind a small amount of road work on quiet roads but looking for good routes for a decent trail ride and opportunities for canter / gallop. thx

I have ridden at Moorehouse a few times, lovely trails there. I know know if it's actually "allowed" though:(

Thx - where is moorehouse. Can't find reference on web.

Does anyone know if you can use the established walking trails as bridleways?

I should have said Moorehall, not Moorehouse. It's over near Mayo Abbey, in the Cong area.
