I am sooooooooo demotivated and bummed right now...
i ate fairly decently last week- lots of grilled chicken, boiled eggs, fruit and veg and only a little bread/starchy carbs....... plenty h20 as well but i had a few slip ups- a piece of chocolate, options at night, sugar in my tea, i guess it all mounts up but i was exercising like mad (at least an hour everyday) and theres been NO change in my weight. I am so gutted. Anyone else going thru same?

Have you accurately calculated your calorie needs? Sometimes people forget that the more weight you lose, the less food you can eat in order to maintain weight loss.

I'm not going through what you are going through, but I have been there. Don't give up.

yeah, i talked it through with my bf (boyfriend not bodyfat), and he said i seem to be a victim of my own success, in that i lost so much weight so fast that i havent learned to conquer my eating as well and things slowed down and now i am demotivated by lack of progress.
I do try to OVER estimate my intake and BELIEVE me my weight is still enough to warrant a "normal" 2000 cal intake and i TRY to keep it below that....maybe i need to push it harder.... urg... I genuinely thought that because my new gym routine was so tough and i was sticking to it...

i have measured myself a few weeks ago and on recent remeasurement i seem to have reduced a few centimetres from my waist and hips but my weight remains the same.... i dont even know if i could be gaining any muscle....

If you have lost centimetres but not weight, then you are losing fat and gaining a little muscle. Try to be encouraged by your measurements and forget the scales for a bit.

You need to be eating 10-15% less calories than your body burns at rest to be getting a pound-ish a week. It's a long slog after the initial couple of stone. Believe me, I know!

Don't blow your successes by comfort eating. Give yourself a nice treat, like a massage or a new dress, but don't eat!
