I cannot speak highly enough of Eamonn Toal who played at our wedding last month. http://www.eamonntoal.com/
So many people at the wedding and afterwards have commented and asked about him. And he had everyone on the dance floor all night. One couple are also going to book him after hearing him.
He won't DJ for you after, but he recommended another guy for DJ and we just booked him on spec, he worked out grand as well, everyone was in fine form to keep on dancing anyway. Eamonn is based in Meath but I'm sure he travels a good bit.
Best of luck organising your wedding!

No bother! Hope you get something soon. I think the hotels can recommend someone too. A friend of mine was at a wedding and told me the name of a band that was really good, it was Time (something...), sorry I can't remember the full name, but it was 2 years ago. Maybe if you have a list of bands you could keep an eye out for it.

    Howdy!

Check out a band called Totally Wired, from Dublin, they travel and I couldn't recommend them more for a wedding. They're absolute nutters and do a really really good high octane show, good mix of contemporary tunes and classic stuff, all tongue in cheek and the guys have some brilliant comedy routines built into the set. I'm pretty sure they'll do a dj set after as well as part of the package.

They play in the Purty in Temple Bar on a thursday I believe.

I know the guys so can PM you their info if you're interested.

    Cheers, Pete
