when i had a beard - few months ago - it grew grand.

but around my mouth it didnt really grow - the moustach didnt connect with the rest of the beard on both sides and only a small bit of hair under my lip and then a gap and then proper hair around the chin etc.

wtf? i was 18/19 when this was happening.

    any answers or suggestions?

    thanks

You're still in your teens and as much as you probably hate to hear this... still growing. :p
Your facial hair coverage/thickness may improve as you get older, but of course each person is different. Give it time! :D

Hell, I'm 30 later this year, and still couldn't grow a full beard due to little patches where there is no growth!!!
Time is on your side lad, as Dord said, it'll happen eventually.

but it grew grand, long etc but it just didnt grow in between the chin and lower lip except on the lower and upper part and then didnt connect the moustache and rest of the beard
it grows - just not in those 2/3 small areas but it look stupid and weird

Just give it time OP. You could trim the heavier areas. At least that way it will give the lighter patches a chance to thicken out. I have a very even and heavy beard growth.

The problem is when I shave clean everybody says I have very feminine features.

it grows fairly even all out - bit heavier around goatee area but not huge amount

the problem is no hair growth at all in the places i stated before - none at all
