In Nice, Trish visits a small Italian vegetarian restaurant, la Zucca Magica, the Magic Pumpkin and its jovial patron, Marco Folicaldi. He doesn't just serve up food, he serves up a whole philosophy. He tells Trish 'We keep things simple, we don't have a complicated gastronomic cuisine, trying to win stars. It's family cooking, in truth we don't have clients we just have friends.' Despite his declarations of simplicity and lack of fuss, he has won plenty of plaudits in his time and Trish enjoys a delicious meal.
Sadly the programme is not veggie themed and is to have non-veggie recipes, but it might be nice to hear a little about this Italian veggie restaurant. If not later, then perhaps another day on the rte player
