ACCA Timing of Exams Query

    I am currently in the process of completing the ACCA examinations. When I registered, I received 6 exemptions due to my university degree and the AITI qualification. I am working full time at the moment and completed 1 exam at the June sitting.

    I have recently found out that i am being let go from my job along with a number of my colleagues and am now looking to complete the ACCA examinations as fast as possible, hopefully doing 4 exams in December and if that goes well, completing the remaining 3 exams in June 2010.

    Can anyone advise me if it is possible to complete exams F7 and F8 in December and also complete 2 of the Essentials Module exams, say for example P1 and P2? I am hoping that I can do this but I am worried that there may be issues with the timing of exams.

    In addition, given that i have recently lost my job, i am looking to cut costs. Can anyone advise if it is possible to purchase the BPP books second hand for the exams?

    Judging by the June timetable, you may have some timing issues.

    P2 is the continuation of F7, guess that's why they're on the same day. Probably better to do F7, F8, P1 and P3, I'm fairly sure these options are open to you, you'll know for sure once you get result of last exam, or if you call/e-mail ACCA.

    In relation to getting the Home Study material, does anybody know if there is any major disadvantage to getting material that is one semester old? I know there may be some slight changes but i would imagine that the text books for June 09 and December 09 will be almost identical.

    Is there anybody looking to sell F7 and F8 home study material?
