South Korean Visa

I will be visiting South Korea soon for two weeks and I can't seem to find a definite answer as to whether or not I need a visa. This site seems to suggest I do but doesn't say anything specifically about Ireland. Can anyone tell me for sure, and if I do how long will it take to get?

Well I phoned the Korean Embassy at lunch time and was informed that for anything under 90 days I don't. (Just in case anyone else is searching for the same info)
