Tingle's Training Session

Just to say thanks a million to Tingle, RoymcC and Woddle for the training session.

I'm still pretty ignorant about warming up before races and training sessions but I reckon the warm up I did (which Tingle would probably wince if he saw me do it) went quite a bit towards me achieving a PB at the Farmleigh 5k.

It would be great if you could list the drills we did so that I can practice them and maybe we could post youtube links to some of the drills here?

Looking forward to some "GAA training"! Might even start a training log to guilt myself into getting some structure to my training. Also if I list the times when I've gone into McDonalds in the last few weeks I'll probably be too embarrassed (and disgusted) to go back again. I think I'm putting too much faith in the rumour that Usain Bolt fuels up on nuggets before posting world records.

So was at the training session in the end? Didn't catch your online names.

    RoyMcC - observing/commenting (thanks Roy!)
    Woddle - obviously
    Jlang
    Seanie500?
ChristeB? - did you have the luna racers?
    Who else was there?

Mr Tingle I think the guys would appreciate the course notes to reinforce what was an excellent couple of hours, when you've got time like :)

I wasn't there... was sick as a dog that week, and had barely the energy to walk! Would love to find out and learn about the drills done. If anyone wants to go through a similar session in Santry some time over weekend / next week I'd be delighted to accompany / learn from them!

Sounds like a great session - Is Tingle on tour?
