Hi guys, Im just wondering about something. I usually like to have either toast and Creamcrackers as a treat with a cup of tea. I know the 2 are now the most healthiest options but im wondering which is the better of two evils???

BTW I only take butter on both, cheers

I would go with 100% wholemeal toast. If I was going for crackers I would sooner just have a real biscuit, they are very similar in ingredients and calories etc to normal biscuits. Since they are bland people sometimes presume they are "healthy".

Neither are wonderful. Personally, I'd switch to Ryvita. Higher fibre, fewer calories and not made with refined white flour.

if you must have one of these - toast would probably be better

I would agree with trying ryvita if you like it and eat that instead, or if you are having toast have wholemeal, you might also try using hummus instead of butter.I would also stay the hell away from butter (and flora etc.) when I am trying to loose weight not only are you eating something that will not fill you up you are adding a very high calorie spread to it as well. Ryvita and banana is quite nice maybe you could try that/

+1 to Ryvita and banana...tis yummers!

Or try a toasted small round wholemeal pitta with low-fat hummous or a banana or a bit of peanut butter
