This is one aspect of the GAA Championship that annoys me intensely. Why oh why can't they introduce the same method that's used in Rugby, ie the clock is stopped on the referees instruction throughout the game and when the time is up the hooter sounds and play ends when the ball goes dead.
A case in point was the Munster Final last Sunday, two mins of additional time were allotted yet half of that time was spent with Cork players rolling around on the ground. I just feel that teams are being cheated out of time on a continual basis.
Does the womens game actually have the hooter in place or am I imagining that?

    You're not imagining things.

The ref should book the player for rolling around on the ground if not injured, add an extra minute and free to the team chasing the game

Its happening everywhere, Hurling and Football.
