Hi i did a course in galway last year and got a full maintanence grant. I have to apply for my grant again, my problem is im still living in galway and dont know if i should apply for a grant here or at home in mayo. What should i do im not a mature student and ill lose some grant money if im living close to college which…

I believe you apply to the area you were in on the 1st October for the previous year, so in 2008. So perhaps contact the Council you dealt with before and they would advise you as to whether you could apply there or where you would have to apply to.
