Can you switch to o2 Experience More with the 3gs on PAYG?

On the o2 website they make it seem like you can only use o2 experience plus with the iphone 3gs, but has anybody successfully swapped from plus to more? I'd find the free texts to every network a lot handier than the free calls to o2.

I know you could do it with previous versions of the iphone, but can you still do it? And if so, how?

    Thanks

They'd just give me the party line though wouldn't they? I believe the iPhone 3g was advertised similarly to the 3gs with experience plus, but people said they were able to change manually afterwards. I'm just wondering has anyone on here successfully done this with the 3gs?

Also, can you switch on the phone, are do you have to ring them up and get them to do it?

I think you are able to switch on the web site - you don't need to talk to them.

I switched to More by sending a text, no worries.:pac:

    Just text More to 50308.

Cheers lads/lasses. I was going to buy an unlocked 3gs from Italy, but I think I'll get a PAYG, give the Experience More plan a go for a month or two and see how it works, if it's too expensive I'll unlock it then.
