cleaning cigarette burn in headliner ?

    ok so a mte of mine was smoking in my car (i dont mind, i do it too, but the sunroof was open and he aimed to get it out there but failed and burned a black patch into my headliner, it doesnt penetrate the cloth but its still there, how best to remove ?

    meguires APC (all purpose cleaner)
    if you cant get your hands on that try some W5 apc from aldi or lidle
    dilute with water 1-10 and use a micro fibre cloth.
