Anyone got apartments or recommendations for hotels in Alicante

Hi, We're a group of men travelling to Alicante in October 2009. We're looking for 5/6 double rooms in either 2 apartments or hotels in Alicante. Any recommendations on where to stay would be great. It's for 3 nights over the weekend. Obvious budget constraints, given the weather.

Check out http://www.alicantehotelalbahia.com
I stayed there with a group of lads last September. It's in Alicante City near the centre and the harbour. We paid €35 per person per night. We were there for the Volvo Ocean Race and had a ball. Great restaurants up the town too. There's a square full of palm trees and great restaurants. Well worth a visit.
They are on all the hotel booking sites like centralr.com
