pre hung doors

    just wondering if anyone knows where i can pre hung pine doors and what can i expect to pay for them, and has anyone ever bought them from poland or germany- if so was it worth it ? thanks

    I don't know where you can get them from, but I do know that they save an awful lot of time when fitting the doors.
    Our scanhome house came with them as part of the kit, GK Doors.
    It makes door fitting a quick job for a competent DIY'er as opposed to a carpenter spending a few hours on each one.
    It was easy because when we put the studding in we framed for the exact size of the doorframe, and then it only needs a very small amount of packing to fit.
    These doors actually came with the locks installed, just choose your handle and screw it on!

    You will be looking at €190 to €215 per door including VAT, and locks inbuilt depending on finish.
