    Firstly thank you to everyone who made it down [all 600 of you!] to HYPE SUMMER SOUNDSYSTEM last Friday...Back once again for the renegade master this week we have another action packed three room local affair. The courtyard kicks off at 6pm. Come along early for great drink promos, BBQ, icecream van and some nice, funky, summer tunes. At 11pm we move inside....In Pod, 515 present a wealth of local talent, including Johnny Holmes and Ableton supremo Barry Dempsey. In Crawdaddy Rubberband return with their full on house. minimal. techno party fueled by DJs Saoirse Ryan, local DJ/producer Bren Black and new kid on Rubberbands block, Fishy. And in the Lobby Bar Subject provide the soulfunkdiscohiphop'nhouse soundtrack with tunage selectors Jaycee and Subway Mike at the controls - Oh yes indeed it's fun time, fun time...House, Techno, Electro, Soul, Funk, Disco - Something for everyone at HYPE SUMMER SOUNDSYSTEM...

    HYPE SUMMER SOUNDSYSTEM:
    Presented by Pod, 515, Subject and Rubberband HYPE takes on the format of a mini-festival for the summer months with an Access All Areas 5 room event every Friday at Pod Complex. HYPE SUMMER SOUNDSYSTEM will feature 515, Subject and Rubberband rotating in Pod, Lobby Bar and Crawdaddy and some of Dublins best independent promoters residing in Tripod Club [Attik] and Tripod Bar, not to mention a spacious outdoor courtyard which will include an ice cream van, burger bar & BBQ, great drink promos [Beers and Cocktails] and pre-club DJs every Friday from 8pm.

    Music wise there will be something for everyone with 515's big room House / Techno / Electro sound meeting Subjects, Deep House / Disco [and sometimes Techno] vibe meeting Rubberbands upfront House and Techno party meeting Indie, Dance Mash-ups, Hip Hop, Drum 'n Bass, Dubstep, 80's / 90's Retro, Reggae, Old Skool, Live Bands etc. etc. And to keep things interesting there'll be Fancy Dress theme nights, Fashion Shows, Art Exhibitions, New DJ Competitions and more, all adding to the mini-festival melting pot and spreading the summer vibes!

    Already lined up for the summer months and playing alongside the best in local DJ / music talent are international acts - Josh Gabriel, Juan Atkins, Hercules & Love Affair & Phil Kieran with more to be confirmed...
