Timesplitters 2 for me. Was just reminicing about it with a friend the weekend before last, and keep forgetting how damn amazingly fun that game is and how very few if any games have come close to that level of fun since, for me personally anyway. The characters, the amazingly varied multiplayer system. I still can't understand why no game since has offered the amount of different gameplay modes for multiplayer and that none have offered local, split screen multiplayer with bots.

Shadow Hearts and Shadow Hearts: Covenant (ignore the third in the series) are two of the best and most underrated RPG's for PS2 out there, and my all time favourite games.

    Gran Turismo 4.

Absolutely adore that game. From the Dodge Viper at Laguna Seca to the Mercedes SLK on the Nurburgring, every bit of it blew me away and hooked me in for months and months.

Can't wait for the PS3 version.

Also, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Pro-Evo series and Toca 2.

    All great games.

Thought Shadow Hearts 1 was utter rubbish. Covenant however was surprisingly brilliant.

    Wipeout!
I remember playing that game and thinking "how the hell am I going to get around the track....it's too fast!" The joy and pride of blasting through the laps in phantom class a few weeks later....bliss!

Having thought about it for a bit I would have to add that my absolute all time favorite is Final Fantasy VII. So much so that I have downloaded it again through the Playstation store. I'm looking forward to the missus giving my the evil eye and coming down the stairs at 4am giving out wondering if I'm going to come to bed at all:D

The day I bought it my buddy called up and we played it for 14 hours straight I think it ended up. We played like one game mode on whatever maps were available from the start for like 5 hours. Then eventually decided to unlock some more game modes. Once we unlocked the Virus game mode I don't think we stopped laughing for like another 5 hours we were having so much fun. We started playing at 1pm and finished at 8am the next morning. We stopped around midnight for food and watched a movie, then jumped back into it.

*sigh* I really miss that game. I gave away my PS2 and all the games when I picked up my PS3 but meant to hold onto Timesplitters 2 and Future Perfect.

i remember those nights.:p. future was nothing on 2, i am kinda annoyed they even released it. it was just such a dumbed down EA unit shifter which ended up loosing out because it didnt appeal to everybody and it alienated the ts2 faithful.
