    Hi

Can anyone reccomend a good Premium Rate SMS service Provider?

You see them every where these days - they usually use 5 digits eg 12345

How much of a cut do they normally work on ?
I want to do a promotion on a product and would like to use Premium Rate SMS to recoup the expense

    Thanks in advance

I have a business idea that is on the backburner for the next (till i've sorted my current one out first) and it's basically a service which provides people with instant info. Kind of like what Dublin Bus have with their text service i.e. they tell you when the next bus is (bad example but I haven't used a bus in YEARS)

I did a bit of research into this. What you need to look at is a thing called an SMS aggregator.

Plenty of companies there that will look after you – don’t go to a aggregator (somebody selling for another company). I some work with Phonovation – good guys (good clients).

In terms of the re-coup – don’t be over ambitions on this one, it’s much misunderstood. There are lots of fingers in the pie, VAT, operators (ie 02 and Voda) and the provider. You really should be doing it for the punters convenience and see the few quid as a bounus.

Your call volumes will naturally depend on the target market, the offer and the cost per text/call.

PM me if you need any other information.

+1 for Phonovation. Very well run company who do a lot of work for high profile companies. They should be able to provide a workable solution.

yeah the recoup can be pretty quite low. You need to have very large volumes of text messages to make money at this game.

I have done business on many occassions with a company called Messagetrusted and found them really good. They have a good range of services also from services for the likes of restaurants right up to the larger brands. I liked the idea of trying out these services at one level and then going deeper into it when you start to see that it works.

pm me if you like and i'll put you in touch with them.

try iword.. they are up your street in terms of requirements... you dont need an aggregator account and dont even go near Phonovation (although they probably are the best of a bad bunch)
