where is the best place to bring old car and tractor batteries in cork?

where i am working they are hanging around for ages and i would prefer to send them off some where they would be recycled

    there is 10 or more

does anyone around pay money for them or is it just drop them off?

also 25 litre plastic chemical containers, where is the best place to send them for recycling?

If it's a buisness you need to contact your local CC or Repak about proper disposal.

Local authority dumps/centres usually take batteries and other hazardous material for from the public, so if you go up a few times you may be able to get rid of the batteries.

Contact whoever sold you the chemicals for the approved disposal method for the containers. Can't tell you where or how to dispose of them as I've no idea what was in them so no idea if they can be recycled, dumped or use another method of disposal.

its a farm i am working on,auld timer in charge...not too bothered...

the plastic drums had chlorine in them and are washed out with water

there are some oil drums too but loads of chlorine ones,if i can get rid of them first there would be some space cleared
