ok this is driving me nuts so im wondering if anyone else here has had a similar experience and may have some advice, im 38 weeks gone 39 on thursday, last thursday morning abouut 3am i thought my waters had broke (alot of clear liquid kept leaking until 9am) i followed procedure went to hospital etc.... they checked me told me everything was fine false alarm etc... and sent me home.

24 hours later i got cramping in my lower abdomin and its been regular since we've researched my pain and found it to match a false labour, contractions arent soon enough or in the right place to go to hospital but yet they are strong enough to cause considerable pain, did anybody have this in the last few weeks and if so did it last the two weeks? it's driving me crazy i cant leave home a: the cramping makes me have to stopwhat im doing and keep moving around and b: the leaking is still occuring so i need to be near a bathroom.

anybody have any tips on how to deal with this?

That sounds really awful. If I were you I would ring the maternty hospital and ask them if there is anything they can do for you. If my waters had broken and I was in pain I would be straight into the hospital. (in saying that though they will probably send you straight back home again:()

sorry maybe i didnt make it clear, im not actually looking for medical advice im just wondering did anyone have similar symptoms, its not actual labor nor did my waters go that time (i was told it was just excess discharge) and it has been the same since. im just wondering am i the only one out there who had this? i cant find much info on it online...

This happened to me! But not for as long. I had it for 4/5 days. Getting worse by the day. I was in the hospital everyday and they kept sending me home. I thought my waters broke too and they told me that there was still enough around the baby so not to worry. I was in so much pain! and they told me to take solphadine! Like that would work!!!!
On the 5 day they sent me home from the hospital at 4.20 and I was back in the hospital at 5.45 and I was 3 centimetres! AND the mid-wife told me that my waters must have broke days ago! Noah was born 3 hours later. I must admit I got really disheartened when they kept sending me home. Poor thing. My advise to you is to listen to you body and if you feel really bad, go to the hospital. At least you know something is happening and the baby will be out soon. I had Noah at 38 weeks BTW and I think that was the reason they weren't entertaining me.
