Our club has a training session booked once a week, and I know at least one other club that does too.

Any time I've been there, there's always a few people out on it - we just ask them politely to use the outside lanes.

Not sure what the official policy is, could be open to UCG students & staff, but I don't think anyone ever asks for ID.

You could call down to the guy manning the desk in the clubhouse/changing rooms building and ask there.
