How much to cut silage

    I was visited by a contractor yesterday he'd cut silage for 60 an acre baling and wrapping available at 4.50 ( no plastic) can anyone beat that.

    I see your limerick, isnt the going rate down there around 100 per acre. I can only presume he's using a wagon.

    done our pit for €80 an acre!!! wagon silage!!!

    tink its around €11 or €12 a bale where i am!

    Our pit was done for €82 an acre.

    No wagons around here that was for self propelled machine . The acres seem to be well back with all of them. Seems to be little or no baling going on either.
