Removing Skype Usernames

    Hi, having allowed my friends and family to use skype on my computer over the years all their usernames appear where I log in, there are so many of them it is really annoying to pick mine everytime. Is there any way to remove them, I tried uninstalling it and deleting it from harddrive but they always appear on re-install. Is there something in registry to adjust? or something?

    It might be best to remove any traces of other users' login details for the last time in Skype and other applications where this is a problem and create a separate user account on your computer for each additional user so their login details are only remembered when they log in with their own personal account.

    Assuming you're familiar with and confident enough to edit the registry, have a look in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Skype\PluginManager and see how many values for RecentUsr you have in there. That should be where you need to look.

    Hey guys thanks for the tips, I tried the regedit trick but could not find anything that would help, but I eventually found this: http://skypefun.net/notrace.html

    It worked like a charm, I just deleted the folders for the other usernames, so now I can get speedy access.Thank you again.
