If you only brought the card and no box then, you should only have seen that "wrong card etc.." message on the premium channels.

The only thing i can think of, is that your card has been replaced with the new white card and its either in transit or sitting on your hall floor at home after postie delivered it whilst you are away.
Can you get anyone to check if it's there?

Or Sky thinks that they haven't been paid.

So you are in France. What are the chances the Sky box is plugged in to the telephone socket? Is it impossible? I'm sure you will have checked this.

No telephone line, it just stopped working, the card works as it still recognises my pin and the other channels attached to the card are working, its just the Irish Channels and non premium. I checked the Sky account and thats not in arrears so the only thing I can think of is

Sky have increased the encrytion level on non premium
My new card has issued and they have disabled the old card

    Thanks for your help guys

Yes, Have had it for years in Cannes signal and quality well over 70% with a 100cm dish. Everything working fine for the first week and just stopped at about 9am yesterday

Did you get an onscreen message saying the new card was posted?

No message, but I wondered because the card has not been in the "right" box for the last 10 days or so would that have made a difference to the message screen ?
