3 Broadband and National Irish Banking

    Afternoon all..

Just curious if anyone here uses 3 Broadband dongle to access National Irish Banks online banking facility?

A client of mine is having trouble accessing the site. They can log in, but after that, none of the links seem to work. When you click on a link, there is a message about javascript trying to load a file, but nothing happens. I have checked the java installation and there is nothing wrong that I can see.

To narrow down the problem, we connected the laptop directly to an Eircom Broadband Router and it worked first time and everytime there after whilst connected to that service, so it would appear the issue is with the 3 connection.

I am awaiting a callback from 3 on the matter, but does anyone else have any thoughts?

Apart from that issue, the connection speed is fine and has allowed me to access the laptop remotely without any issue.

    Thanks,
    MJ

With eircom each line gets its own public ip, not the case with 3.

Let us know how 3 weasel their way out of this one

Never thought about that, but yet it does not affect AIB or Ulster Bank online banking...
