    Just got this in an email as I haven't used my account in a long time. So if you had a free bet like this, what would you go for (has to be done by the 5th July and I'd like something to go for something with greater odds, say 10/1 or so).

    Watching the Italy of late I'd back Ireland to win Group 8 in the World Cup at 7/1

    Not eactly 10/1 but close enough...

    If you like your poker I'd put €5 on 10 players you like in the WSOP Main Event which starts today. Because of the size of the field you get between 150-300/1 for the top players. Then you just hope one or 2 of them make the final table.

    Or I also fancy the Phillies @ 12/1 to win the World Series. They're reigning champs and top of their division so far this year. Though I have Dodgers @ 11/1 but they're down to 6's now.

    Phillies just acquired last year's Cy Young Award winner (award for best pitcher) Cliff Lee in a monster deal. There's a hell of a lot of value in betting on them retaining the World Series now IMO.

    Anyone have a bet on the WS yet? A Halladay trade to Red Sox would be very interesting but I don't think he'll move anywhere before the deadline tomorrow unless it's the Angels.
