So,im going to oxegen next thursday.Lasy year I just wore shorts for the first two days, then covered up with jeans and leggings for the duration oof the rest of it.
However, this year,I really want to wear shorts for the majorty of it,or at least the option to.
As a broke student who is yet another victom of this economic climate,I cant really afford expensive salon treatments to ensure I remain hair free for the festival.
My friend suggested just shaving my legs with conditioner outside our i'm tent, but what about my armpits and my bikini line?(My boyfriends coming too and I feel icky about walking around all prickly around him)
Im wondering what others are doing, would suggest and what are the best home hair removal options? That would last for around 5 days?
My skin is not particularly sensitive and my regrowth is not that strong or fast,in fact, its quite light.
I'll be grateful for any advice!!

You could just kick your boyfriend out of the tent for a while and use hair removal cream, and take it off with a wet facecloth? It's not ideal and a bit stinky, but it's probably more practical than shaving coz you won't need lots of water.

Come Saturday everyone will be a smelly nasty mess anyway, so I doubt anyone is gonna mind. :)

Have you heard of those sheer skin thingamajigs? You don't need water or anything, they just rub away the hair. I think they have cheaper ones in Boots. Kinda like sand paper though...

Those sheer skin things are rubbish unless you have really really thick hair on your legs (as in they worked on my brother's legs but not mine  and they hurt.

tbh nobody will notice your legs unless you have thick black hair on them or something, especially if you're wearing wellies as well!

Nobody is going to be examining your legs.

I'm going to shave my legs friday morning and hope for the best for the weekend !

I think it would be well worth paying for a leg wax. It wouldn't be that expensive in a local salon rather than a fancy city centre one.

Boots have Nair wax which you could use yourself. It's in a yellow pot, you heat it in the microwave, apply it with a spatula, it sets immediately, then you rip it off. There are no cloth strips needed. Veet have microwave wax too but I think that needs strips.

I'm liking this option at the moment. Did you know how long it lasts for?
And can it be used for your armpits/bikini line?

I've used it and the effect lasts as long as salon waxing. Yes you can do underarms and bikini although I wouldn't be attempting brazilian waxing at home! Problem= having to pull the wax off yourself...you think about it and know it will hurt, less thinking about it when the salon lady pulls the wax off.
