Can anyone recommend any models for me? It's a while since I bought one and my father is looking to get a new one.

Mid range would do, ie. not the cheapest or the most expensive

    Thanks lads

Powercity have the Samsung LE32B550 for €529.95, which is a mid-range, Full HD LCD TV.

Or this one for 500€ only!:)

Have'nt seen it in action but HDTVtest recently reviewed the 32B450, the HD ready equivilent. They had very good things to say about it so I guess many of that TVs strong points would be present in the series 5

I haven't, but there is a great review of the HD Ready version on HDTVtest, an independent TV site that gives frank, honest reviews on products.

If you want to see the TV in person, it would no doubt be in most of the electronics stores, e.g. Currys, Harvey Norman, Powercity etc, as the Samsung B series TVs are the latest from Samsung.

There are also some thoughts on the different models, B530 and B550, here.

550 looks good, like that it has a USB port.
