Best place to buy jeans?

I'm actually desperate at the moment. I have no decent jeans at all! And I've been everywhere and I still can't find them. I'm kinda a short'n'curvey 12 and I can't pull off skinny jeans. I can't pull off baggy because they make me look even smaller. So I'm left with straight leg and boot cut. And bootcuts that are too wide make me look even smaller.

So where can I get decent straight leg jeans in Dublin? I've been all over the new Arnotts in Jervis and I think I tried on every single pair of jeans there and I've gone through two TK Maxxes to no avail. So where's left to buy decent jeans? I don't have a credit card and jeans are something I'd need to try on first to make sure I look ok.

    Help! :)

BT2?? Might be a little pricey but you could be lucky and pick up a pair during their sale

I'm around the same height and size as you and I've got some nice jeans in A-Wear lately, fit n flare/bootcut but think they have straight leg too. Sometimes i have to take them up as their 30" short leg is not that, it's longer :o but for 25E I like the cut and colours.

Gap do really nice jeans. The Long and Lean are flattering on a lot of body shapes and do actually make you look longer and leaner!

They also do a shape called Curvy which look nice. I haven't tried them on, but they look worth a try. :)

I'm a size 28" leg and in between an 8 and 10 which makes it a nightmare to find jeans...
I shop in Topshop for my jeans!! They're leg size can go down to a 28" or 30" and they're sizes are really good... They do so many different types of jeans.. I buy loads of skinny jeans from them but they also do boyfriend jeans and some great bootcut jeans! Great prices aswell... from 45 to 60 euro!!
Also try river island... They do the same sort of thing!:D

I quite like Tommy Hilfiger jeans - see if you can find a pair in the sales.

I used to always buy my jeans in dorethy perkins found them great but not so much anymore.
I tend to get great jeans in New Look. I am quite curvy and short aswell. They do really nice bootcut with a minimum flare so if your short they suit perfectly. Last time I got a pair they cost €15, they were a really nice denim and very slimming! :D What more could you want!

Next FTW thou if you're short you'll need to order online - the stores are a bit crap when it comes to getting petite sizes.

i wouldnt write off tkmaxx just yet, i always got jeans in pull & bear, and was at a lost when they move out of my area, but then found tkmaxx invaluable, the choice changes daily so if you dont get somthing todya you may find the perfect pair tomorrow. try on some that you dont expect to work, you could be surprised.

I find topshop and awear good for jeans just because they come in varied lengths. Topshop sometimes have horrible styles though...

I really like pull and bear jeans but they're far too long for me and I'm about 5'5".

I think River Island have good jeans! Nice fit, too.

My sister's a 12 and their jeans always look good on her - very slimming and good quality denim.

I've always liked their jeans for myself too - just hard because I can be between sizes sometimes!

A|Wear do have some nice jeans too, although I find their sizing quite weird - Sometimes, a 10 will be swimming on me and other times, I'll be struggling to close the zipper!

So, definitely try everything on first!

If you like cheap and cheerful, try Penneys - I always get complimented on this pair of black bootcut jeans I got in there for about 15 euro! Well worth going in and trying them on, just to see how they look!

I have a similar problem, I'm average sized (size 10 and 5'6'') so you'd think it would be easy enough to find something simple like jeans, but the only place I can get them to fit is river island and even then they are too big on the waist but just right everywhere , maybe even a bit tight, but can't buy size 12's or else they fall down! But I'd give river island a try, I got my only pair of jeans that I like there about 6 months ago, bootcut think they were €80 but are still perfect!

There's a dye you can buy for denim that restores the colour, works wonders with faded black jeans and wont dye the stitching!

About a year ago I was looking for jeans - the hardest thing in the world to buy. I was about to get the best pair I had tried on in River Island but just held off for another hour. Then I went to M&S of all granny places and they had a really good selection for all diff shapes & sizes. i ended up getting them there - 2 pairs. One skinny and one boot leg.

They fit the best but I still prefer the jeans in River Island.
And since then I have lost over a stone so now the search has to start all over again:p

I love Topshop jeans and their petite range would be great if you're smaller. BT2 have a great range as well if you've money to spend. Although a lot of their stuff is in longer lengths only. Oh and sometimes you can be lucky with pepe stuff as well! You just need to keep trying them all on and don't get demoralised:)

I swear by Topshop for day to day wear. All different styles, leg lengths and width. Not too pricey either at all, and you can get 10% off with a student card :D
