Which cable for multiroom

I have UPC digital in the house, and there is a analogue feed up to the attic to an old splitter. The old splitter had no back to it, and I could see just a single bare wire going to each antennae point.

I replaced that with a f-type splitter, but the signal going from the splitter down to the bedrooms is still very poor, so I have bought some replacement cable (assuming I get nowhere with checking the tv points in the room)

I picked up some Satellite Cable and some F-Type connectors. Should I have gone for Coaxial Cable, or is this better / worse / no difference
