i think you can, but you must do it in ical ( on your mac)

open ical>preferences>general> and its in there.
im going from memory but it should work. the program on your mac shares its preferences with the ical app on your iphone.

will try it later when i get synced up

Unfortunately its not as simple as changing the calendar in OsX. For some reason when the locality on your iPhone is set to Ireland, the default is to have Sunday as the first day and this cannot be changed. Previously if you wanted the first day to be Monday on the iPhone, you had to set your region in settings to either UK or US and that changed it so the first day was Monday. Its something which also bugged me but I just got used to it. I'm unsure if this work around works with 3.0.

Sorry for dragging up an old thread, but the topic is the same as my question...

Is it now possible to change the start of the week to monday? Just got the iPhone and as mentioned above, the only way is to change the region to UK, but this changes everything to UK settings...

Can iCal be used on a PC for example? Any other fixes for this?

so what if any are the consequences to using an iphone here in Ireland with that location thing set to UK?
I prefer the week to start on Monday as well but I cant see any thing different with the phone having set it that way.
(or is it kind of a negative patriotic kind of thing?....:D)
