    This is a long shot but hopefully someone might have an educated view on this:

    I designed a logo for someone in 1991. I have proof of the date of origin etc. I was surfing the web recently and noticed a company in Dubai have used this logo for a plush resort since 1998. Do i have any claim to the design (bear in mind it is more or less a complete copy) or is the fact i didn't register the design leave me high and dry.

    you might need to ask the question on boards.ae ....
    Any legal remedy'd need to happen in the emirate.
