Springboks – 15 Zane Kirchner, 14 Odwa Ndungane, 13 Jaque Fourie, 12 Wynand Olivier, 11 Jongi Nokwe, 10 Morne Steyn, 9 Fourie du Preez, 8 Ryan Kankowski, 7 Juan Smith, 6 Heinrich Brussow, 5 Victor Matfield, 4 Johann Muller, 3 John Smit, 2 Chiliboy Ralepelle, 1 Beast Mtawarira.
Subs: 16 Bismarck du Plessis, 17 Gurthro Steenkamp, 18 Deon Carstens, 19 Steven Sykes, 20 Pierre Spies, 21 Ruan Pienaar, 22 Frans Steyn.

Finally Kirchner gets his chance, happy to see Fourie, Nokwe and Steyn starting too.

Same as the ABs 4 years ago. :o:o

Still a decent team with Morne Steyn, Brussow, Kankowski, Nokwe etc

Bakkies Botha is a huge loss though.

GIven that the Lions have lost the guts of their team I'd put my money on the Boks.

That center pairing is frightening. Should have been the center pairing that started in the first 2 tests.

Amabokke, do the think the Beast should have been dropped due to his faltering scrumagging last week?

Should have been the starting Out-half too.

Lions have a chance though - we've a 2nd string team, so do they, so who knows. I don't know if I'll even watch it though - if I'm home i will.

With the lions choices at tighthead, I'd say not.

No, he is only 23 and can only better. People might say he is there because of a quota, I say rubbish. He can scrum, tackle and run with the ball.

Scrum has never been our big area so not too concerned about it.

Os was also only 21 when he played in 95 WC and was one of the best props we had in WC07 because of consistency and experience.

He is a weapon in the loose.
I think he really looks the part of a "Modern Prop".

Nokwe.....? Is he that really fast lad who played for Oranje Free State last year?

Yup, the lad who scored 3 tries against the Wallabies last year. He's a brilliant finisher.

Based on current form/fitness levels, or do you rate Olivier ahead of a fully fit JdV? Personally I think Fourie and JdV is the number one centre pairing.

Problem with pairing Olivier and Fourie together is that they are both crash ball lads who seek contact way to often. That will be compounded by the fact that Steyn isn't the greatest runner of a backline.

But given this years S14 results i think Olivier should of got the nod ahead of JdV who captained a poor Stormers side to a poor season.

Yeah, Stormers were dreadful and he missed the last few games through injury, and had to play a few games before that paired with Bobo. On form and fit though, I think he's one of the most creative around.

Maybe they dropped him because he told them he won't be around for the tri-nations as he'll be at Munster :D
