Has anyone stayed here for a Croker concert?
Just wondering would it be too crowded/ messy. It's for the u2 gigs later this month.

I haven't stayed there for a concert but have stayed during international rugby games in the past.
The lobby/bar/restaurant gets very busy just before the gig/kick off, but I found it was grand afterwards as most people who weren't staying at the hotel headed in to town.
I've always enjoyed my stays there I have to say, found staff & facilities very good.
    Enjoy!

I stayed there for a concert. Its great because you are right on the doorstep and the security is tight enough that not any old riff raff can stroll on into the hotel.

The manager even came over and asked us to get up from our chairs as he would like to put them away so they could squeeze more people in. We told him the GTFO.

Well, I have booked it now anyway. Good value with booking.com €119 for the room for the Sat. night of U2.
They told me that they have an executive lounge for guests so it will be a comfortable place to have a few drinks before the gig.
