    Wheres the trailor?
    Youtube?
I think they got kinda worse as they went along giving you all these crazy weapon attachments but givin you a terrible mission rating if you used them!!
Conviction looks unreal id def give it a try

After playing Chaos Theory again, I really feel that SC has gone in the wrong direction. It's very over the top IMO, especially this new marking system.

I think it looks brilliant. They've really updated the series especially the combat. It reminded me of the opening to Casino Royale.

This could be great. I mean really great. It could also be terrible and serve to water down the series. It's a fine balance.

trailer looks pretty impressive. Haven't really played one of the games since the original on the Xbox as I wasn't blown away by the original but this looks special. Lets hope it holds up.

Quite enjoyed double agent. There was a bit more focus on combat, but i still avoided it as much as I can. Some levels where you were infiltrating the cell were all stealth, so if you like that thats cool.

worth it for michael ironsides too.

I love Splinter Cell, can still remember drooling over the shots of the first game in OXM :D Chaos Theory was definitely the high point of the series while Double Agent was good, but had one major annoyance I just couldn't look past - no cutscenes.

Granted I'm an undercover agent infiltrating a terrorist group, but FFS at least let me see how the story is progressing once in a while. It seemed to be mission -> jba hq -> mini chat with npc ->mission. And
    kill or save Lambert
was just ****ing stupid. Both choices seemed to lead to the exact same conclusion!
    he dies

The screens for Conviction look very promising and I''m just hoping they flesh the story out a bit this time.

when they first started talking it sounded like a load of hot air, specialised take downs etc were nothing new.

But when they explained the Y button system and the line of sight ghost, both simple changes but very very cool. Especially the Y button system when you can target objects and people and then take them out in a quick series of attacks. That is pretty cool and is a genuine step in the right direction of combining action/stealth.

The ghost image while not as groundbreaking, is a good visual cue to where you were last seen and if you have gotten away or not. Thumbs up for cutting down on hud elements fround in most stealth games.
