Lions Tours are Completely Pointless!

Ok I'm over exaggerating there but I do wonder, why the feck do we do this to ourselves?

Rugby is probably one the greatest "team" sports there is. Its all about the team working well together. For Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland to come together and select a team to be ready in a couple of week to play against established countries, that train and play with each other day in day out, its a mammoth task. No matter what country the Lions play, its always gonna be hard for them, dont mind that fact that they always play the 3 best teams in the World everytime.

My main problem is this. We accept that the Lions will always be underdogs because the team that plays and trains together more will more than likely be the better team and trying to bring players together the way the Lions do is very hard. But im my opinion, all we are doing is stroking the egos of those Southern Hemisphere ego maniac's. The one thing that New Zealand, Springboks and Aussies all have in common is that they all think they are the greatest people alive and that they will show us how rugby should be played.

What would be better is if we had like a Northern v Southern Hemisphere tour or just left is as the British and Irish Lions v the 3 big countries mixed. That wouldbe alot more fair.

I just hated watchin the Sprinboks win cause I know how friggin cocky they are...... but at the end of the day, they should win, its way harder to do what the Lions do. Sorry for the rant.

themont85 already steered the guy in the right direction so where was the need for the further three posts to hammer it home, along with the obligatory caps locks and roll eyes. It strikes me as ironic that the people who are chirping on in the feedback forum about the direction of the rugby forum are some of the very people steering it off course.

REPORT THE POSTS INSTEAD OF BACK SEAT MODDING.

    Is that hard to understand?
