BATTERYY NOT DETECTED.....??

    I bought my ADVENT laptop 3-4 months ago in PC World liffey valley, now the laptop wont recognise that the battery is in it!! I've tried taking it out and putting it back in and even shouted at it but theres still a problem.....

    It just reads "Battey not detected"

    The PC runs on vista and i cant find an option to install a battey or anything like that...

    Anyone got any ideas.....???
