    Some supermarkets have frozen blueberries and other berries. Often they are frozen straight after picking, and for once the adverts are actually true! they often do have more nutrients because of this.

    Tesco were doing frozen bags with individual packets of "smoothie mixes", just strawberries & bananas ready for a smoothie. These also serve to cool down your smoothie. The frozen berries are often alongside the icecreams, and can be much cheaper than fresh ones.

    Butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers for at least 90% of your healthy food.

    Health food shop for the rest.

    Blueberries are fine, but any local berries also count as a superfood.

    Aldi/Lidl blueberries do be lacking in taste I find. Dunnes have a special on them at the moment, think they're €2 for a small punnet (150g or so).

    However Aldi now stock frozen blueberries, they'll be beside the €2 forest berry mix, they're €2.80 (350g) and lovely as a snack with some natural yoghurt.

    Hopefully Rubadub appreciates the above info and will come on and will tell us which is the best price per blueberry:D
