Criminal Minds, I watched all 91 episodes in about 12 days :o

What are yer thoughts on The Unit? I want to know if I should start watching it.

I haven't watched a new episode of the Simpsons in about 3 years. It means I can pretend it's still the best cartoon ever. Futurama will never get the kind of ratings the Simpsons did though. I picked up all 4 seasons of Futurama for 40 euro a couple of years back. Best value purchase ever!

You would be lucky to find two of them for that normally. (Maybe it went down in the last while though?)

Anyway, I don't really watch tv anymore so I normally watch shows on the internet. Since I get to pick them, I usually just choose documentaries or TED talks.

I have the Band of Brothers series and Spielbergs Taken downloaded though, so hopefully I'll get to watch those soon.

Saw The Inbetweeners on the plane last week, so have now finished watching the two series, really like it, good fun, although pity it always goes the same way.

Curb You Enthusiasm...how hasn't it been mentioned? Its quality. Larry David, even the thought of him, always makes me laugh. Can make any situation turn into social awkwardness of the highest order, and its hilarious.

The Simpsons, seasons 3-10...yeah, nothing on tv can beat these. Cleverly funny, just sheer genius. And watching back, as you get older, I find I laugh more at different parts.

Used to love watching that. Now I don't have Sky so it's been ages since I've seen it. :(

True that the women are pretty nice though.

There's some great, hilarious episodes but sometimes it can go the whole 30 minutes without anything that makes me laugh. Guess it relies on the whole "Oh Charlie you whore" thing too much..

Ok, so not quite a tv show, ut will be released here on dvd in september. Another idea from seth McFalane.

All I know is that I find it quite funny. Prob get it from America on dvd sooner rather than wait. Also, Life & Times of Tim is quite funny too.

TV is taking up a lot of my time now. Watched the first series of Six Feet Under, about halfway through the first series of The West Wing and just watched the first two episodes of The Wire.
Also, I ordered the second series of Flight of the Conchords and all three seasons of The IT Crowd. They just arrive in about a week or so. :D

Nope there's a new series, though I never thought Futurama was excellent, it was decent but nothing special.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,534 ✭✭✭Dman001

But I thought the next season isn't out till next year, and they haven't showed all those DVD movies.

I've been watching Harper's Island the last few weeks and while it is quite entertaining it has some of the worst acting and script-writing I have ever seen. :/

How could I have been so foolish?!?! :(:(

Getting a sporadic amount of TV watching done these days, some day watch a good bit, some day none. I'm currently addicted to South Park mainly because you can watch it on the internet free and legally. Tis' shweeet.
Either that or Two and a Half Men re-runs, Everybody Hates Chris, Rules of Engagement, Friends (re-runs...constantly).

And as Jammy said the Inbetweeners is the funniest thing I've seen on TV...funnier than anything by miles. Pity it's not on more often. :(

Ah Thursday nights used to be the best! Buffy and Angel used to be on TV3 and the joy that the next was a Friday.

I remember we used to get Dominos each week and sit in watching it, possibly Angel and there was something good on before it as well, was amazing.
I thought it was Fridays though, maybe a different channel or season than what you're thinking of though, or I'm wrong about the day.

    Oh to be young again

So the guy from Harold and Kumar is in it :pac:

It's good but uses alot of the techniques used by Lost tbh.
