check the forecasts for the next few days, dont get your hopes up. seems like heavy rain is forecast for a lot of ireland. it is handy to look at the science- weather section and local forecasts, rain wont be hitting east coast till 2moro morning is the word on the street. bit windy this weekend?

Ah, I had already heard it wasn't going to last, awful shame, happens every year. My face is lovely and burnt at the moment

I think I'm going to chance going for a long spin tomorrow regardless, used to the rain at this stage and may as well enjoy the sunshine in between the showers!

Lets hope the weather is unreal during the tour..
Nothing in this world makes me want to ride more than watching riders sweep gracefully across quiet countryside in scorching heat.

Dang with a name like "It has to be said" I was hoping for a controversial thread that Tim could jump on and we could all get a laugh.

A rather unsurprising drop in the amount of people I saw cycling today. :)

Very foggy glasses the whole way and a wet bottom when I got in. However, spot the bloke with the new bike. I didn't want to get my new one wet yet so cycled the old one in :o

And I had the bike rack and the showers to myself at work .... perfect .. :)

Was getting really pissed off with the heatwave and dry weather with fighting for bike space at the rack and then walking into damp smelling showers ...

only a fraction of the rack is used today, i am not impressed. if that little bit of rain turns people off already ... imagine get september comes. Meh.

    OP HEXED IT

Looks like no more double jobbing - ie cycling and tanning at same time
